Bulgaria's construction output declined further in March
Bulgaria's construction output in March 2011 remained below the levels registered a month earlier, according to National Statistics Institute (NSI) seasonally-adjusted data.
The country's construction industry registered a monthly drop of 3.1 per cent, compared to a revised 2.3 per cent month-on-month fall in February and 1.7 per cent in January.
On an annual basis, the sector saw a 19.1 per cent decline in output.
Building construction slid by 2.2 per cent in monthly terms and by 14.7 per cent on the year, while engineering construction output decreased 1.9 per cent against February and by 23.8 per cent compared with March 2010.
