On April 25th, Mr.José-Miguel Roca, CEO of Roca Group announced the acquisition of an additional 47% equity stake of the company Parryware Roca Private Limited in Chennai, India. Parryware Roca was constituted in May 2006 as a joint venture 50/50 by Roca, the world’s largest bathroom furnishing manufacturer and Parryware, the leading player in the Indian sanitary ware market.

Parryware Roca Private Ltd. reached a turnover of aprox. 60.000.000 ? in 2007-08 fiscal year, which represents 25% growth over previous year. The company has 5 factories, employs a total of 2,522 people and has a production capacity of over 4 million pieces per year.

The acquisition of the main equity stake of Parryware Roca Private Ltd. consolidates Roca’s leadership in the high growth Indian bathroom products market.
