The Bulgarian subsidiary of Danish producer of power generation equipment Greentech has announced plans to build a wind farm in the Georgi Damianovo municipality in North-western Bulgaria, said the local authorities. The investor intends to install 58 wind turbines each with a 2MW capacity on an area of 19 ha near the village of Dalgi Del.
Greentech has already sealed a deal with the Chiprovtsi municipality, in the Balkan Range, for the installation of 60 wind turbines. The investment should be deployed by the end of 2010. The two wind farm projects are expected to cost around 180 mln euro.
