Terazid, the Bulgarian manufacturer of adhesives, paints, plasters and insulation materials for the construction industry, reported a 41% year-on-year jump in H1 sales. The company said sales have more than tripled over the past three years, benefiting from an ongoing construction boom, investment in quality improvements and competitive pricing, said manager Rosen Stankov.
The company plans to launch a new installation for dry mixes with an annual capacity of 60,000 tons by the end of 2007. An installation for the dehydration, milling and separation of aggregates will become operational in 2008. It will have an annual capacity of 60,000 tons. The new technology and production lines are expected to double the output of dry mixes. Terazid also intends to launch a new installation for dye and plaster paste towards the end of this year. It will have an annual output capacity of 10,000 tons.
