Mall of Sofia Area Reopens with New Sewage, Infrastructure
Few months after the grand opening of the largest shopping and entertainment hearth in the capital city, Mall of Sofia has completely renovated the sewage system and infrastructure in the area. The renewed pipes will service nearby housing quarters as well as Sofia's largest trade and leisure complex. The investment exceeding BGN 2.5 M is part of broader socially responsible plans of Mall of Sofia to work for "Sofia becoming an even more attractive and European city".
In the presence of Sofia Mayor Boyko Borissov, Aaron Kedem, CEO of Mall of Sofia, expressed his thanks to all the residents in the area for their patience during the construction and renovation works. Trams in the area have gone back to operation down the Alexander Stamboliyski Boulevard again. Mall of Sofia opened doors in early June amid hectic interest by hundreds of thousands. In their first weekend alone, the Mall's boutiques, restaurants, cafes and various other services attracted 135,000.
