The traditional International Fair - Plovdiv has opened its gates for a sixty-second time boasting 20% increase in participants and exhibitor space. A total of 3,548 companies from all over the world have booked all the exhibition space at the Fair City, organisers said. The latest of Bulgarian technical production will be represented by 1,353 companies, while those from abroad account for nearly double that number - 2,195.

The biggest interest for exhibiting comes from Germany with 556 participants, run up by Italy (444), Turkey (146), USA (140), the Czech Republic (108). This year Turkey has emerged as partner to the key trade venue, which will continue for a week. Within the fair, and participants and guests to Plovdid will be able to experience the Night of Museums and Galleries, on September 29 - part of the European Heritage Days.
