A new residential complex will partially open for business in mountain resort Dobrinishte in time for the 2006-2007 skiing season, said Ivailo Petrov from Lira Aton, the company developing the 10 mln BGN project.
The first of the 4 stages into which the construction of the Lira Thermal complex is divided comprises 18 houses which are undergoing final touch-ups. Some 30% of the houses have already been sold, mainly to Britons, said Petrov. The 18,000 sq m Lira Thermal will also feature a 37-apartment building.
Lira Aton is in the process of obtaining the permits for a second residential development in Dobrinishte, said Petrov. The construction of the 12,000 sq m complex should begin this fall. The overdevelopment of Bansko, the nearby ski resort which has restricted new construction projects, has recently turned the attention of investors to the less high-profile Dobrinishte and Razlog.
