Bulgaria's government plans the building of more than 700 kilometers of roads by 2015, Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev said Saturday. The government is actively working for an overall infrastructure strategy and the project will be officially presented within two weeks, Stanishev announced.
The Prime Minister unveiled part of the Trakiya Highway near Stara Zagora. The section has been built under the "Finishing Trakiya Highway" project and it adds 15.6 kilometers more of smooth road towards the country's seaside.
Our main goal is to build a good environment for the people and the business, Stanishev said. He wished a safe trip to all the drivers and passengers.
Regional Development Minister Asen Gagazov, Stara Zagora's Mayor Evgeni Zhelev, and the county governor Maria Neykova greeted the PM at the unveiling.
