A General Motors delegation headed by Eric Alstrom, GM Europe Vice President is looking for partners in Bulgaria. A total of 22 Bulgarian companies working in different branches participated in the Day of the supplier of "General Motors" organized by the Bulgarian chamber of commerce.
The aim of the meeting was to present the companies with the philosophy of the major car industry suppliers chain in establishing first contacts and further development of the business relations.
Eric Alstrom pointed out that General Motors' interest in Bulgaria is part of the global policy of the company for distribution of the output and after-sales service.
As sales in Central and Eastern Europe are getting bigger, General Motors is willing to boost the production of spare parts for its cars on the territory of the countries main consumers. This, the company says, would guarantee a lower prime cost of the products, while keeping their quality.
Eric Alstrom underlined that the improved infrastructure would be a better premise for the business cooperation with the Bulgarian companies.
