Bulgaria's capital Sofia hosts the international "Bulgarian building week" expo that will continue to March 15. More than 500 companies from 25 different countries including Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Italy and the UK participate in the expo.
On an area of 12,000 sq.m. the companies are presenting new products and technologies in over 30 branch profiles. The latest novelties in construction materials, isolations, doors and windows, metal detectors, fire and gas detection equipment, floor finishes, identification systems, interiors and lighting, locking equipment, marble and granite products are being presented at the expo.

A debut at the expo will make special informative counters of Austrian Trade Commission and of the Czech agency for trade support. This offers the opportunity to interested Austrian and Czech companies to promote their products on-site and to get in contact with professional trade show visitors stemming from the sectors building materials, building machines, sanitary products, electric installation, windows and doors, HVAC (heating and cooling systems) et al.

The aim of this exhibition is also to showcase the foreign companies from the building and construction materials sector, particularly those new to Bulgaria, and to attract buyers, agents, distributors and potential joint-venture partners
