Bulgaria will launch a national campaign for revitalizing buildings in the beginning of March, Economy and Energy Deputy Minister Lachezar Borisov announced Monday.
Several banks will take active participation in the campaign, Borisov said, by granting low-interest credits. The campaign's main goal is to bring down the energy waste and to give the buildings a more contemporary look.
Hospitals, schools, kindergartens, and other social facilities will take priority in the revitalization process. The Ministry of Economy and Energy will also renew the thermal insulation of its own building in the end of March.
