Over BGN 156 M will be invested in the construction of the first in Bulgaria wind generators park constructed by Ecosource Energy. The wind generators park will be constructed on the ridge of Stara Planina in the region of Murgash peak. The "Murgash" park will include 44 wind generators meeting the demands of the European Union. Each wind generator will have a power of 2,3 MW and the accumulated power of the park will be 100 MW.

The first stage of the project, which includes the fitting of 20 wind generators will be completed by the end of 2006 and another 24 generators will be installed over the next two years, Vladimir Nikolov, Ecosource Energy Managing Director explained. He also added that preliminary data shows that over the first stage of the project the park will provide nearly 180,000 MWh electricity at a minimum of 3,000 hours operation.

The investment project was granted the certificate for First Class Investor, issued by InvestBulgaria Agency (IBA).
