The number of holidaymakers in Borovets and Pamporovo, two of Bulgaria's highest-class winter resorts, has grown significantly.
Borovets has seen a growth of 20% as compared to last year, it emerged Sunday. About 70% of the international guests are Britons, next come Russian visitors.
Pamporovo has also boasted increased interest and an almost 100% used accommodation potential.
Britons and Irishmen top the number of international vacationers, but there are also guests from Holland, Greece, Russia, France and Serbia and Montenegro, the state Bulgarian News Agency says. Foreigners make for the majority of the tourist flow to Pamporovo, while about 30% are Bulgarians.
