A total of ten new hotels will be opened before the beginning of the new summer season in the Bulgarian seaside resort Sunny Beach.
The opening of the new hotels will boost the capacity of the resort with 2, 500 beds. The first tourists in the posh resort are expected to arrive in May.
Most of the tourists are expected to come from UK and the Scandnavian countries, still, construction works remain a serious problem for the local authorities.
A total of 4.01 million were the tourists in Bulgaria in 2004 thus marking an increase of 13.6% year on year. Most of the tourists came from Greece (707, 000), Macedonia (656,000), Serbia and Montenegro (577,000), Germany (565,000), the UK (259,000) and Russia (121,000).
