A one-room flat on the outskirts of Sofia has been sold at the record-high price of EUR 1, 035 per square meter, according to reports.
The deal sets a precedent and should not mislead the players and clients on the market, say experts, as cited by local 24 Hours Daily.
The average price for square meter floorage in Sofia district of Lyulin is about BGN 475.
Meanwhile Varna, the main Bulgarian seaside city, leapfrogged the capital, to take the first spot in two-room flats prices.
Data of "Address Real Estate Properties" agency shows the most expensive two-room flat in downtown Varna was sold at EUR 1452 per square meter, as compared to EUR 1320 in Sofia.
